We are interested in hearing from potential advertisers about new and interesting ways to help you reach your desired audience. We strongly believe in the power of traditional advertising: print advertising as well as standalone online banner advertising. We are also open to discussions about sponsorship, interactive advertising, social media promotion, audiovisual content, native advertising, and other possibilities. Our aim is to work with like-minded organisations, not just alongside them.

We are more than happy to combine any mix of the below four options together into a bundle, for a discount – and we are also always happy to talk about entering partnership that lasts longer than a single campaign, again for a discount.

A full media kit can be obtained upon request. A basic summary of traditional advertising options are outlined in the tabs below. Please contact us with any queries about pricing or anything at all.

Note: all revenue from advertising goes toward covering the production costs of our publications.

On our website we publish posts every single day, including original, web-specific pieces two to three times per week. We focus on commentary, criticism, investigative essays, lists, and interactive screen-friendly storytelling. We also run excerpts from our print and digital magazines, news items, and more. We carefully commission, select and edit pieces that will work best in the online publishing space, and we see a high rate of shares, likes, clicks and read-times on our posts.

As of February 2018, the TLB website receives an average of 870 unique visitors per day with an average of 1183 page views per day (more than 430,000 page views per year). Visitors to the TLB website stay for an average of 1 minute and 53 seconds.

We offer one banner advertisment spot that sits smack-bang in the middle of our home page, alongside a TLB advertisement. We also offer a sidebar advertisement spot – this ad will appear alongside every piece of content.

You can book both of these advertisement spots for a week, a fortnight, or a month, with relative discounts applying.

If you purchase a month’s worth of advertising, we are able to change your ad artwork every week or fortnight, at your request.

We send out an enews update once a week, every week, on Saturday mornings, to our 11,000+ enewsletter subscribers. Our emails have an average open rate of 43%. We offer banner advertisements, or we can offer an editorial feature, which includes an image and 150 words of text of your choice.

We have 13,000+ followers on Facebook, 13,000+ followers on Twitter, and more than 4,000 followers on Instagram. We can work across all three platforms with your campaign, or one or two. Costs depend on what kind of campaign and which platforms.

We run all kinds of events, including launches, music gigs, readings lectures, debates, panels, and more. If you'd like us to produce and stage an event for you, or you'd like to partner up with us on an event, or if you'd like to include your brand at one of our events, please get in us and we can discuss.
