As night follows day, as spring follows winter, so too do the digital instalments of each issue of the Lifted Brow follow the print version. This time it’s the first instalment of the pinkest Brow ever, issue #29.
We make every issue of our print magazine available to read digitally (via our free-to-download app), splitting each issue into three instalments. We do this because the work we publish is first and foremost intended for the printed page, and to shovel it all into one single digital issue would be silly.
We know that some folks can’t get their hands on a print copy easily, or simply just prefer to read on their handheld device, and so we work to ensure the digital reading experience is also a special one.
The first of three TLB29 digital instalments is now available. What’s inside? Jana Perković and ‘the Critic’ return; a powerful memoir from Paola Balla; Khalid Warsame’s Australia Day; writing from Briohny Doyle, Jean Edelstein, and Fatima Measham; a new Merv Heers comic; artwork from Freda Chiu, Ruth O’Leary and Chaya; and poetry from Stuart Barnes.
