Here at TLB we’ve had a digital version of our print magazine for some time now, but that digital version was through an app restricted to iOS devices only. We’re very happy to announce that—as of right now, this very instant—The Lifted Brow is available on the web too. This means that it can now be read on nearly any device you damn well please to read it on: desktop, non-Apple mobiles, the tablet of your choice. PC? Sure, why not! Home-built linux rig? Uh-huh. Your old Nokia? Maybe. (Probably not.)
As ever, we deliver editions of the digital magazine monthly: three digital issues each feature the work from our current print edition (three digital issues = one print issue). You can read individual issues by simply purchasing them, or you can save money, time and thumb movements by choosing an annual subscription. All subscribers will also receive access to our entire back-catalogue of digital issues for the duration of their active subscription.
If you already subscribe to TLB: Digital via the iOS app you can also access all of your issues issues over the web, and if you subscribe via the web you can also access all of these issues via the app. Technology! How even does it weave its dark magic?
Just in time for the launch of the web version, we’ve released the second digital instalment of our most Vegemite-slathered edition yet, issue #29. What’s underneath that bright yellow lid? Not a delicious yeast-based spread, but excellent work from: Amy Gray, Dion Kagan, HD Thompson, Leonie Brialey, Lynn Nguyen, Mary Leunig, Robbie Arnott, Paul Dalla Rosa, Phoebe Sheehy, Queenie Bon Bon, Regrette Etcetera, Safdar Ahmed, Stephanie Van Schilt, and Wendy Xu. Good for your body, even better for your brain.
